When to visit a dental clinic:

The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends that everyone (babies included) see a dentist at least every 6 months for regular preventive care that includes an exam, x-rays as needed, and cleaning. Dental hygienists and dentists will be able to detect any signs of gum disease or tooth decay before it becomes more serious. If you are experiencing pain or bleeding, you should make an appointment at a clinic as soon as possible.
